These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the GHOST mobile app ("GHOST," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using GHOST, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use GHOST.
GHOST lets you watch publicly available Instagram profile activity for accounts you choose, using Instagram's official API. GHOST shows you changes it actually observes — a new post, an updated bio, a different photo — and never invents, guesses, or infers information it hasn't directly observed.
GHOST is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected to Instagram, Meta Platforms, Inc., or any of their subsidiaries or affiliates. "Instagram" and related trademarks are the property of Meta Platforms, Inc. Your use of Instagram's underlying data through GHOST remains subject to Instagram's own Terms of Use.
You must sign in with Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google to use GHOST. You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that happens under it. You must be legally permitted to enter into these Terms in your jurisdiction to use GHOST.
GHOST only ever accesses information that is publicly available through Instagram's official API. You agree to use GHOST only for lawful purposes, and specifically agree not to use GHOST to:

GHOST is free to use with one active Watch. GHOST+ is an optional auto-renewing subscription that unlocks additional Watches, priority alerts, and extended history. GHOST+ subscriptions are billed and processed entirely through your Apple ID via the App Store's In-App Purchase system. The price and billing period are shown before you purchase.
Auto-renewal. Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your device's Settings → [your Apple ID] → Subscriptions. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's own refund policies — we do not process refunds directly.
GHOST depends on Instagram's official API to function. We don't control Instagram's API and can't guarantee its availability, accuracy, or continued access — if Instagram changes or restricts its API, some or all of GHOST's features may be temporarily or permanently affected. We may also modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of GHOST at any time.
GHOST is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do our best to accurately reflect what Instagram's API returns, but we don't guarantee that the information GHOST shows you is complete, accurate, or up to the moment — it reflects what was observable at the time GHOST last checked. GHOST reports only what it actually observed; it never infers relationships, emotions, or motives.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GHOST and its developers won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of GHOST.
You can delete your account at any time directly in the app (Profile → Delete Account) — this permanently removes your account and all associated data. We may also suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use GHOST after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
